You may ask, who is Jesus? And what is The Jesus Series all about?

The Bible is clear when it talks about the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the promised Messiah, the Son of God, the savior of all mankind. The scriptures tell us: He is the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world. (John 1:29)  Jesus himself said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one comes to the Father, but by me. (John 14:6)

The most popular verse in the entire Bible tells us: For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)

That is good news. The following is a concise version of the gospel of Jesus Christ:

• For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)
• God demonstrated his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)
• For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23)
• If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9)

And that is what The Jesus Series is all about. Our mission is to provide images created to help start conversations that lead to sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. We do not claim that these paintings accurately depict the physical appearance of Jesus. They are simply artist renderings. But we trust these portraits will be used as reminders to help believers share who he was and what he did. We believe it is the responsibility of every Christian to spread the story of Jesus with their world. It is our prayer that these images will be used to help stimulate such conversations, to the glory of God.
